If you hear your students talking about shopping at the school store, we have something new for students at Shiver. The Shiver Shop, a store where only tickets can be used as payment. No actual money is accepted. This year students have multiple ways to earn tickets that can then be combined and spent in the shop. Each item has a ticket value. The more an item cost to purchase, the more tickets that item requires.
Not only are students excited about earning tickets, it is providing opportunities for conversations with even our youngest students about spending and saving.
